Hi Jess,

18lbs is amazing in such a short time please look at it positively. It is great to see the weight drop off but you do need to looks at the whole picture and you cannot achieve massive weight losses each week, it would not be good for you. 2-3lbs loss would be fantastic. you are averaging 6lbs a week.

I have lost 29lbs in 10 weeks which is 2.9lbs a week average and I am delighted.

Please be proud of what you have done and use it as inspiration to know off those lbs each week.

Good Luck.

Post by MrsBadcrumble Thu Mar 22, 2012 8:54 pm

Jess, if your ticker is right having lost over 18 and a half pounds already and it's only week 3, then you're doing brilliantly!

You're already ahead of what Kee say is an average of about 14lbs a month. So, you should feel really enthusiastic now, going into week 4, and do remember, sometimes I think our bodies need a bit of time to adjust to weight loss, hence we have those weeks of what appears to be a plateau, but then the next couple of weeks after, the losses come again.

If you're 100% on plan, it will work, but none of us work like clockwork. For example, last week I was losing 1lb on average a day, sometimes a bit more. This week, my 2nd week, I've had a couple of days where the scales haven't shifted, so today I refused to get on the scales, and will leave it a few more days now.

Keep up the good work, because it's working! Have a fab Thursday.

Hi Jess,

Wow! your loss (and hubby's too) is so impressive, after just a couple of weeks!!!

I'm a newbie, and it's reading efforts like this that really spur me on, especially if I'm feeling a bit wobbly.

I'm a bit like your hubby, and can't resist hopping on the scales every morning. I tried to convince myself this morning that I should leave it a few more days (WI isn't really until Monday), but I couldn't resist. I know I'll feel disheartened if there's not a shift, so shouldn't really do it.

Keep up the good work, you must be feeling fab. Smile

Prob another half a stone or so will get you there.
you must be really chuffed with yourself,
you're a motivation to me to keep going on the days i'm struggling.

Hello Jess,

Wow, i bet you are proud of yourself. Well done on your weight loss, your 1st stone gone.....

Is it easier now that you dont have to cook for your other half as you said he is doing this too.
Dont get disheartened when he loses more than you which is what tends to happen. I dont know
why but men always seem to get the better deal on things even with weight loss.

I understand what you say about the cost but i dont think that any other products will work out
any cheaper, i think most products are similar, you would have to compare the nutritional value of
them against the kee products. Also taste counts for a lot, i have found the kee products a lot more
enjoyable than some things i have tried.

Well done Jess, have a good day

Post by jessyberry88 Thu Mar 15, 2012 6:41 pm

Hello!!

Well had my second weigh in yest and iv lost 7.2lbs so my total in 2 weeks is 14.7lbs!!! Im so chuffed to have lost a stone!!

My husband is on day 3 today, after having a small hiccup on Monday night (eating pizza!!!) he started again on Tuesday!! He is such a scale hopper though, we ended up buying scales and every morning and evening he jumps on no matter what i say!! Oh well so far he has lost 7lbs so hes really chuffed, think its given him a boost for day 3!! cant believe he has lost that much already, but like he said to me he has so much more to lose plus he has physical job so i suppose he is just working all his calories off!!

Any results for the comp yet?

If feel youve over done it, take your normal 4 products and add an extra HP mealpack, their called the lifesaver for a reason lol! only around 100kcal each and so much protein around 18g there brill for exactly that reason, imagine a lovely apricot or toffee mousse after your evening mealpack, yummy

Post by Admin Sun Mar 11, 2012 5:28 am

Remember the saying "Nothing tastes as good as being slim will feel".

Anyone that has lost weight previously will tell you how good you feel when you reach your target........., the food you eat is enjoyable for just a very short time.................. it wasnt that important, but we all have a article of clothing that we wore when slimmer that made us feel great. We remember that for years.....either trying it on in the shops, the admiring glances , how we felt.

Do you agree flower

I was going to ask, could someone please give me a list of all salad things and vegetables that we can have on the rapid plan, as my booklet says one thing but then my friend who has done it on and off for few years now says we can have others, so im a bit confused!! i love my veg which is a good thing but i would like to know the full range of what i can eat!!

Hi Jess,

Just seen your weightloss. Amazing bounce well done, make sure you look after yourself through this journey but the weighloss makes you feel so good. It helps with so many illnesses, aches and pains, I think you can find your inner self, feel positive and defiantely find some confidence.

Its strange how busy lives can make us loose ourselves in lots of ways and I think by doing this plan (or similar lans) you hopefully are doing it for you and with that you are taking back control of your life and a sense of being worth while again.

Brilliant weight loss keep it up.

Jess' journey Empty Nasty Carbs

Post by Admin Fri Mar 09, 2012 7:17 pm

Hi Jess - It does make you realise you are what you eat. Those wasted calories and carbs from high process foods just pull you down, Eat stodge you'll feel stodgy. Not all carbs are bad, they are best in their natural form and when maintaining your new slimmer weight will play a vital part in your continued good health.

Carbs are in lots of healthy foods, carrots, new pots, basmati rice, wholemeal bread or pasta. It's the portion size that can do the damage and the processed carbs & sugars that make us feel like a "Couch Potato", now I wonder where that term came from study

Well done on your weight loss. With the ticker follow the homepage instructions to the letter it does work, just may take a little dabbling with.. you will get their in the end xx

With the veg and dressing, those with 1% fat are acceptable, better still are 1 cal sprays, they come in a cesar salad and balsamic vinegar, believe they are kraft. You are allowed on our plans to use some healthy oils, nut & seeds oils, this really helps with your skin, hair, nails. Make your own dressing, with chilli, garlic, fresh herbs and marinade in a favourite oil, and lightly drizzle on your salad or vegetables.

On our receipe page one forum member also used the curry soup to make a tasty dish, veg and salad can be used with all our soups to bulk them out like a broth.

Hope helped

Post by lucylu78 Tue Mar 06, 2012 9:26 pm

Hi Lovely

Great to see you on here. I was really proud of you yesterday when you found out you'd
lost 6.5lbs already in just 5 days, despite having really hard pressure
from family and friends who thought they had your best interests at heart.

I found this last time i did the diet 3 yrs ago, that so many 'well meaning' friends
who think this is such a drastic diet and surely 'unhealthy' try and make you eat.

Keep too it hun, you've done so well not to cave in-and remember to come round
mine tomorrow for your week 1 weigh in.

Big hugs
Lu x

p.s-like kelly said follow the instructions on the forum homepage for your tracker, then next time
you post a message it'll show up. Very Happy

Hi Jess,

Well done on the weight loss so far and for overcoming obstabcles this week. It can have a massive effect on you when things dont run smoothly so well done for your strength.

If you look on the home page on the forum Admin have put a link for your tracker. It will take you to a differnt page where you eneter your details and you have to copy a code and then come back to your profile and paste it in there. It is quite easy but follow the instructions Admin give on the forum home page.

Good luck. keep posting.

Hi Jess,

Well done on your weight loss so far, it certainly gives you the boost you need and the incentive
to carry on. I too take sneaky peaks in the week to see how im doing but i am trying to phase
this out as your weight fluctuates so much.

Sorry i cant help with the veg, i havent had any yet but have only just started my 3rd week and
am getting used to kee products.

As far as the tracker goes i found it almost impossible but i am a complete computer geek who knows
nothing but my son who is a whizz did it for me really easily and i must say i find it really inspiring
when you get to put your loss on it. Im sure one of the girls on here will point you in the right
direction with that.

Well done again and keep taking it one day at a time, post often on here that really helps too.

but to give myself a boost i did an early weigh in yesterday,

glad to say that i had lost 6.5lbs yest!!! im so thrilled, but gonna stick at it and do my last weigh in tomorrow to see if there is anymore before i start my second week.

im quite surprised that i dont feel hungry anymore.

There are a few things i would say is that im struggling to make my veg interesting, is there anyone with any suggestions to help me?
it says you can have a low dressing but doesnt give any suggestions either for that.

anyway thats me for now
