Linda is back on track.....This is my journey
I re-started my weight loss journey yesterday after losing 2 stone at the end of last year with LL, taking a break over Christmas and then using Kee to lose the little bit of weight I gained over the festive period and then maintain for a little while. After a few weeks of letting things slip I weighed on Monday morning and had put 2 pound back on so decided it was time to get back on track!
To date I have lost 25 pounds which has made such a difference to me and the way I feel about myself but I still have 5 stone to go to get to a healthy BMI. I have been finding it difficult to get back on track so I have decided to start recording my journey here as by making this public I know will be more committed. I think my biggest problem has been not getting back into ketosis for long enough for it to really make a difference this time. It's time for action.
After my good intentions I had a bit of a rocky start yesterday - Perhaps with hindsight, deciding to restart on a day that involved a 4:15am alarm, a red eye flight to Amsterdam and a stressy day at work after a hectic weekend of socialising/dining out was not that well thought out. The good news is that I did a part Kee / part food day, the food bit wasn't actually too bad and I managed to avoid the temptation of the vending machine StroopWafels!!
I am glad to say that I am doing far better today. Started my day with a hot Total Chocolate and have just had a green salad and Total Mushroom soup for lunch (it's an hour later here) and have already had a litre of water and a huge mug of peppermint tea. I have a busy afternoon ahead of me which always helps me stay on track and then I just need to keep focused tonight as I tend to find the evenings the hardest. I am really hoping that when I return to the UK on Thursday night I will well and truly be back in ketosis.
Hope everyone is having a good week so far and look forward to seeing all those tickers moving in the right direction.
