Hi Hun
lol I am the same as you bit worried about everyone knowing what I am doing so haven,t put much up on facebook.
Did leave a comment on there when I started but didn,t hear back from anyone, I do know what you mean people are so negative about VLCD and as you say it takes strength and determination, and for me personally I sometimes have too step back from food completely too regain control lol or I just eat bad things and bigger portions, this gives you will power and your control back.
Lighter life was nice tasting but too expensive, I tried afew of them before I settled on Kee diet my favourite is the Thai soup, chocolate and strawberry shakes and the wafers, I do have some of the snacks instead of a pack, also found a great low carb site advilite it does lots of things that you could use to maintain, when you hit an ideal weight, I haven,t tried the other shakes yet, the normal hot chocolate is really nice but the irish one had a very strange after taste didn,t like it Sad
Stay intouch and stay strong and positive I will check in on the site regularly as it is quiet normally xxxx

Bless you Crystel! You too sound cool! Sounds like you have been to hell and back! You are one determined lady! Shame I can't chat to you on Facebook, but have not joined the keediet Facebook page as I don't want my friends to know about this until I have reached my goal and I am happy. People really do get down on your ass when you bring up meal replacement! I don't know why as its pretty hard and I have a new found
respect for those who lose on VLC diets! Shows strength! I think anyone that takes the step towards a healthier lifestyle deserves support. Kee diet is very reasonable too compared to most I have researched! How did you find lighter life..... Is it similar? Thanks for the heads up on the omelette lol.... Have you tried the chicken soup and vanilla shake, I wanna try. Chocolate shake is yummy! VLC porridge takes some getting used to lol! If ever you want to do the whole Facebook thing let me know! Are you on the kee diet Facebook page. Xxxx

WOW Very Happy you can be my friend lol you have an amazing attitude too life and you sound SO motivated and strong hun
loved reading your reply made me smile.
We are quite similar in many ways although I haven,t been blessed with kids, I often tell my friends that have and are upset by the way their bodies have changed, too love their bodies cos its given them an amazing gift.
I did Lighter life it was abit much like you I know why I got big, medication and stress I comfort eat lol always have done!!
I use too work in health and fitness so I know what I should be doing and eating, but I am lead my emotions and I love foods that I shouldn,t eat.
I use too love my fitness but had 15 operations in the last 12yrs so haven,t been able too do much try too keep abit up by walking my dogs etc.
I agree most of this diet is very tasty although I tried the omelette last night oh YOU No
wasn,t good at all but so far I have managed too not be tempted by food, think the social events I have coming up will be tough, but if I have too eat I,ll have lean protein and salad.
I am just taking each day as it comes and not looking at the whole 4stone it seems too unbearable lol
you continue with that amazing energy and your be back too what you are happy at so soon xxxx

Crystel

Sounds like you are doing really well honey! Two weeks that's ace! I've battled with my weight since my late twenties, but I took up fitness and got to a steady size 10. Then when I had my first son three years ago I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes and was on really high doses of insulin (fat making hormone!) coupled with the fact I stop fitness I piled on five stone! Took me two years without diet and just exercise (a lot of running and strength training) to get back to a size ten and ten stone! When you work out believe or not it decreases your hunger so I naturally ate when I needed and limited booze to once a week. Then I went and got myself knocked up again lmao! I had gestational diabetes again despite being fit and healthy and although I was so careful about my weight for the sake of the baby, they still needed to wack me on high doses of insulin and metaformin three times a day. Momma got big again and because I had an emergency c section I had to wait until at least January this year to get back to fitness. So 13stone 8lbs this time! I lost some with pure fitness and now down to 12 stone I am getting impatient so I figured I would strip some fat with the Kee diet. Never done a diet like this before. Fabulous results! I weighed myself today and I am 11stone 5lb...... Flipping great. The stuff is really flavoursome! I really couldn't be doing the lighter life.... Counselling is not my thing! I know why I am overweight. Also, in the past when I put on weight I knew the reason was depression. I am a typical binge eater! If I taste one bar of chocolate I have to have ten. Interestingly I don't feel like binge eating on this diet. I am physically hungry but mentally I am not interested in food! Making my family food is not a problem! I am 38 and I love my body it gave me two beautiful boys, best I start respecting it.... Stretch marks and all and shift the pounds! Lol Wink I think you will shift the pounds too crystel..... Two weeks fabulous! Can't wait to hear what you lost. 4 stone You are gonna kick it in the buttocks and show your body who is boss! Go girl!

Hi lovely too hear from another newbie on here as it is pretty quiet on here at the min and I think we are all in need of support as this is a very tough regime too follow!!! there are a few of us that have started around the same time so hopefully we can all support each other, oh I completely understand my family don,t agree with this sort of plan at all I am single so literally have no support!!its good your guy is supportive!!
Have you done any diet plan before?
I did do a similar diet 5yrs ago and lost 4st.
Yes I did regain it BUT don,t listen too the haters, I kept it off for 2yrs then got very poorly was put on steroids and had afew family losses so the whole bad combination made me regain, think without that I could have kept t off.
Well done for your weight loss so far, I am not weighing for awhile, I have a lot too lose so just going too try too stick too it for now
Crystel xx

Post by Pink hazel Mon Apr 15, 2013 2:21 am

..... Forgot to mention I am doing this four weeks at a time (rapid burn). I have written off my social calendar until at least June! I don't have much of one at the minute anyway as still on maternity leave til beginning if May. The most socialising I do is at mum and baby group or the gym. Lol how times have changed for this old bird! But it's fortunate as my biggest weight gain pitiful is wine! Wink so I am just left trying to shift the baby bulge, Rather than wine bulge! Alcohol is a killer to any weight loss plan! X

Hi

I am on day five.... Still hungry too lol! But not as bad as day four! I have only told my bloke I am on this diet (rapid burn). Friends and family tend to scoff and say "oh you'll put it all back on with meal replacement diets". I can't be arsed with the haters, I feel a bit lonely lol! Need KeeBee friends! Fed up with having slimming world rammed down my throat. I have lost five pound in five days so the results speak for thrmselves. How are you doing? X
