GOOD idea I bought a treadmill, that has a hill climb feature..that I DO USE when not on diet. I've got a DVD tv in the garage / gym, believe it or not I walk uphill mode for half an hour, watching ANYTHING FUN ....to keep me amused...As for the 15stone FAT MANTRA......TRUE, just about anything that gets your head round, where you want to be. BELLE JUST KEEP IT UP .......I PROMISE HAVING DONE IT ....YOU WILL BE A VERY DIFFERENT YOU, AFTER.... THE YOU ....YOU KNOW YOU USED TO BE xxxxx

im excited! cant wait to get down to under the next stone....im still 10lbs off that but HOPEFULLY that will happen within the next month.

in my head
15st+ is FAT
14st+ is FAT
13st+ is FAT
12st+ is getting there!!

i want to hurry up and reach "getting there" so I can do the second half of my journey to SLIM!!

my friend, who unfortunately stays 30 miles from me, has recently purchased a vibration plate and swears it is toning her up, im thinking once i get to 13st on the button i might treat myself. But im not going to buy one until i can prove to myself im in this for the long haul this time!!

Ive never heard of such a drastic accident, whilst tripping over phone. Good idea to delete it as seeing it when you're about to phone or text someone, may have given you ideas ...9lbs plus is a pound a day, as I said to you I was doing...So again it's clear every DAY you remain on it, is another pound gone...One week half a stone....
You must be proud YOU'VE DONE THAT , NO MEETINGS .....JUST YOU ...
KEEP IT UP BELLE X

Day NINE and 9 and a half pounds lost so far

had an extra bar last night, naughty but was starving, pycologically more than anything probably and thought that would be better than dominos pizza!!

i have incidentally deleted dominos number out of my fone just in case i trip over, press their button by accident and order a large double decandence american hot - stranger things have happened!!

9 and half pounds down, 4stone to go - BRING IT ON!!!

variety is the spice of life, i got one of EVERYTHING (almost) except the soups cos i hated them on lighter life and cant see me liking them any more now than i did then.

why not treat yourself to a box of something different just to give yourself a boost! 8 quid wont break the bank after all

can i go the whole hog? well i hope i can, i FEEL like i can at the moment, im full of excitement and determination BUT i have been there many many times before so scared to promise it out loud!! taking it a day at a time and looking forward to my weigh ins friday and tuesday and hoping they will keep me focused.

15 weeks to go is a LONG time but as you have said it will be worth it!

Wendy i KNOW what you will look like at just under 10stone, i bet u look amazing already but my mum is the same height as us and after losing just over 3 stone she is 9st 8lbs and looks bloody fabulous!!

if you are struggling, get that fat photo out and remind yourself just how far you have come, ur a winner!!

PS i got my daughter to take a side on pic of me yesterday in just leggings and my bra - all i can say is FRIGHTENING lol! that could actually amount to child abuse now i think about it!!

Annabelle I'm thrilled for you, I think maybe now as you start to see the benefits, firstly on the scales but then as you shrink..You'll go the whole way to the healthy weight.....I know its not easy and cant say in all honesty it gets easier, but ITS SO WORTH THE RESULTS...

3 or 4lbs a week would be fab for me from now on, but im going to try and not get too hung up on the weekly numbers and see what the end of each month brings. If i can get near to the stone a month I will be over the moon!

Sooo this morning i have good news and bad news...

the bad news is it seems im totally inept with a calculator (frightening given i hold a budget at work!) and i calculated my weight wrongly.....kilo - pounds - stones and i was actually 15st 4 and half pounds at the start of my diet last tuesday

the GOOD news however is *drum roll* i had a sneaky peek on the scales this morning and im just marginally over 14st 10lbs!! so my official weigh in tomorrow is looking good with an 8lb loss, yaaay!!

hope everyone is ok this dreary wet monday morning x

As long as you stay away from the carbs/sugar you've not done anything too bad. If you are making your shakes with water rather than milk then I really wouldn't worry too much about some milk in a coffee. The main thing, however, is to see it as a treat and not as a daily thing, you will be just fine.

Glad to hear it's all going well.

and breeeeeathe, i have 4 dog boarders at the moment and i dont know if its the diet thats making me a bit tetchy but......

currently i have a patterdale terrier chasing a football up and down my hallway, a bulldog snoring extremely loudly on my sofa and 2 collie brothers just causing general chaos and mayhem by play fighting continuously with each other AAARRRRRGGHHHH!!

i usually LOVE having the dogs i get and have endless patience and time for them but can see me being in bed by 8pm tonight just to get some peace and quiet lol

collies go tomorrow afternoon, roll on 3pm, iv walked them 4 times today and there's just no knocking the energy out of them at all!

you seem very focused, you can talk about pizza, that's no calories gained..
My older boys have been boarding for years with my bro's and now the younger one started last year.. We love it.. But I do like the summer hold Espesh if I can look good on beach..that's where boarding helps, everyone looks big in da layers..
Belle keep up the diet, it'll be SOO worth it..and you'll SOO regret it if you give in..

i think the charts are a good idea, but don't be disappointed if one week is say only 3lb loss (and give in to pizza) as the next week could be a 5lb loss, that's what I found..but say over the month it becomes a balance of 1lb per day ( that's how mine was, on LL, IM GUESSING , this will be very similar, as both on this one and LL I lost 4lb the first week.. I've written to you in INFO WENDY BREW....

Diet OCD has kicked in with a need to make charts and do figures and tables for myself!!

so im going on the basis that im doing this for a full 16 weeks and the first week i WILL have lost half a stone......after that if i lose:

a steady 3lbs a week i will be 11st 7lbs by 11th december
OR
a steady 4lbs a i will be 10st 6lbs by 11th december!!!

i shall keep that in mind everytime i think PIZZA later.......

A POEM FOR BELLE

BE PROUD OF YOURSELF BELLE,
FOR YOUR SHEER DETERMINATION,
YOU KNOW YOURSELF WELL,
AND REMOVED THE TEMPTATION,
THAT HALF BOTTLE OF WINE,
WOULD HAVE GONE IN A BLINK,
YOU SAVED YOURSELF,
320 CALORIES .... . DOWN THE SINK

EACH ONE OUNCE OF AVERAGE RED WINE HAS 25 CALORIES
AND THE AVERAGE BOTTLE OF WINE CONTAINS 635 CALORIES ........

Yup, your both absolutely right, iv brought a shake into work to have around half 3 to keep me going until dinner.

i also had an open bottle of red in my kitchen which i poured down the sink at lunch time eeeek!! im not a big drinker but do like a glass of red after my dinner and especially at the end of the week (obv not had any since i started this on tues) so the temptation for friday night would have been too much to bear!

I agree with Mikey, too less calories doesn't help the weight loss. Whilst I was on LL I'd purchased a nutty bar, for each day ( 7x ) for the coming week, I really didn't like them, so just cut them out for that week, so for a week had a meal replacement less...at the weigh in I had lost less than the previous week.
Also as you've found your body will react, you'll be tierd, lightheaded, achey as I was that week.....

Yeah my total intake is barely reaching 500kals at the moment, so good point, will add another pack in today.

Morning of day 3 and resisted the temptation to stand on the scales this morning, will weigh in tomorrow and hopefully see a difference! Excited but daunted by the weeks/months ahead. Time seems to go sooo slow on a diet, think if i dropped a stone a day it wouldnt feel enough lol. Onwards and upwards!!

Hope you guys are still going well

Another thing is to make sure you are up to about 800 calories a day. Apparently there's not much point dropping below that, you will not lose the weight noticeably faster. Have you added up the calories of your 4 items? You can always move up to 5 things if you're a bit under. Maybe have an extra bar with you should you feel a bit light headed.

How are you splitting up your meals?

I normally do breakfast, then a shake around midday and 4pm, evening meal around 8ish. Not sure how long since you had your last item but if it was lunchtime then that does seem ages until you get home.

Lightheadedness has hit me!! its almost 3.30pm, 3hrs till i get home for dinner, drinking more in the hope it helps - water that is, wine would be preferable but that just might render me unconscious lol!

I am not so good on the laptop as I seem to be on the diet, so I've left a reply in my posting of INTRO WENDY BREW,
GOOD LUCK, BE inspired by ALL these KEEBEES, that are friendly, honest, and been through it, or going through it WITH YOU.. I read as much as I can, I've FOUND knowledge helps, you understand the logic of it all. Theres loads of good advice and encouragement ,I LOVE the site.

I take a look every day, hoping to be inspired and maybe inspire others. I do take it quiet seriously, I'ts a mission I WILL ACCOMPLISH, My motto is ALWAYS '' IF ANYONE CAN DO IT I CAN ''.....
