Week 2: Only 1lb loss

Thanks Sarah

It's good to get ideas on how to make the meals interesting. I save the choccy bars til about 9pm and savour it with a cup of coffee Smile

Good luck to you too.

Hi Denise,

I can't believe how much you lost in the first week, that's amazing! Well done.

I do the same thing with my meal packs, and add veg to the soups and hot meals. I don't mind the spag bol too much, but prefer the chilli out of all of them, and find it's the best substitute with veggie mixed in for a real meal. I steam or microwave all my veg (got a lovely lot of fresh asparagus, cabbage and leeks this week) and sprinkle with a bit of aromat seasoning.

I save the shakes for if I have to eat on the road, as it's an easy thing to eat on days out. I try to save the bars for the evening, but some days I like them late morning with a cup of coffee, and it keeps the hunger pangs at bay.

Glad you're enjoying the plan. The big weightloss to begin with is a huge incentive to keep at it.

Good luck with WI this week.

1st week - success Empty Thanks

Post by Den81 Mon May 28, 2012 8:39 am

Thanks Kate

I really like the Chicken Soup, I sometimes add some fried mushrooms and leeks to it.

I also like the Strawberry and Banana Milkshakes.

The Spicy Chilli is nice, I add chilli flakes and garlic to it along with a load of the green vegetables we are allowed. (got that idea from Trazzer, my partner in crime on this diet).

In fact, the only things I wouldn't buy again are the Oatmeal Porridge and Spag Bol.

It's only been a couple of weeks for me (weigh in tomorrow) so I am looking forward to trying lots of other meal alternatives.

Bye for now.
