I tried the cookie idea and it worked but the taste still made me gag. I think im just used to the Slim Fast shakes. They dont have the weird toffee aftertaste.

Thanks for the tip tho!

I can never do these right, I do cookies instead, they work out better for me. Mix the batter up the same with fizzy water then spread it on some microwave tefal type paper to look like a giant cookie and nuke it for a minute, then another etc until its all cooked through, the middle cooks last.

If you can get the muffin bit right, save a teaspoon or so of the powder and mix with a bit more boiling water and a sweetener and it makes a kind of custard to go on top. I made these ok with LL products but cant seem to do it with Kee ones! Any tips gratefully recieved here too!

Muffin Help? Empty Muffin Help?

Post by Mora Sun Mar 14, 2010 1:12 pm

Hi

I tried to make a muffin out of the choc shake pack and it's...umn...not right. Even the cats are afraid the the creature I just cooked up in my microwave! lol

I added 2 capfuls of fizzy water to the shake and stirred it to the consistancy resembling thick paste or batter. I got distracted and left the mix for a few hours, came back and nuked it for just over 1 min at 750watts. It rose a bit and then poofed out. Nuked it for another min and now it's a stodgy rock.

Anyone have tips? I probably should have nuked it right away, right? Question
