I was a former LLer too. The shakes were tastier on LL, but as long as they work, I can stick with it! I have been using the soups from the weight control section, as sometimes is nice to have something warming inside you.
The mushroom is my favourite, then leek, onion and chicken. Very nice, easier to make up if mixed to runny paste first, then make up with boiling water. then it comes out at the right drinking temperature too.
The chocolate crunch bar is nice and found the toffee one quite nice and will ring the changes as somehow the choc one can be alittle too much of a good thing! Hope this helps.
Stay with it, we know it's going to be worth it in the end!!!

Day 1 nearly done & Bars???
Well day 1 is nearly over:
I am feeling a little miffed though, I drank my water, I have almost had my quoter and I actually felt a little hunger pang earlier on at about 2pm..but think I'd left my 2nd of the day too late.
Not too keen on the yoghurt & museli bar...was REALLY excited about it too, was such a let down!
I didn't get any soups (boohoo) as it says they aren't ready yet? so I did have some LL ones leftover and had a thai chilli, I always needed the soup at tea time to make me feel a bit more normal whilst OH and DD are tucking into their meals.
Here's hoping the Vanilla shake tonight makes up for the others as sofar am not too impressed.
Also, can anyone tell me why we have the bars straight off?
On LL we weren't allowed them until you'd been on shakes for a while, and I must admit I NEVER cheated until I started having them..I always put it down to having something to chew instead of drink?
...Am left wondering though if you gave them a miss and just stuck to shakes...would you not cheat? Also, I can remeber having MUCH better weight loss without them and when I started them the weight loss slowed down!!! Think I might stick to the shakes a while on there own and see how I go.
