Hi Kate,

No, absolutely not, I really appreciated your words.

I was probably more musing about things I've discovered, and trying to put a positive spin on things. More for myself than anyone else. Smile

Have a good w/end

Thanks Kate,

Wishing you the very best with your tests, and hope the flu goes soon.

I guess none of us would actually be here, if food wasn't an issue for us in some way. It's finding a way to deal with it, whilst still wanting to lose weight. It's no bad thing that several of us seem to have all hit certain obstacles, or had to partake in Real Life alongside the Plan.

It's easy to see the negative in it, and feel you've failed, just because you ate some food that wasn't in the Plan, or had a fruit juice when out. In some respects, I should have felt an achievement at still losing weight, and not gaining. I suppose we get spoiled with Kee to lose several pounds week in week out. It's definitely easier to focus if you're 100% on plan, that's for sure!

Life is just one big learning curve, so I agree with the viewpoint that you learn from a previous error, and plan how to deal with it the next time. Next time I'm in a pub and asked to order a drink, it's going to be sparkling water, or a cup of tea! lol

Hope you all have a good Thursday. It's day 3 of full-on hardcore baking for me.... it's not easy to contend with a multitude of different cakes, biscuits and treats all day long believe me!

Hi folks...

just read some of the recent postings and many of you are getting back on the diet after having breaks and dinner party hurdles to get over so i thought a few words of encouragement might be of help!

Im still waiting on my blood results as there has been some confusion over it all - may even have to go back for another one if its not sorted so perhaps longer to wait even still!! *yawn* No plus i have had this stinking summer flu thats going around so am in need of help myself!

whilst searching the net i found this:

'Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards.'-Soren Kierkegaard

i think it speaks for a lot in our lives but weight loss was most apparent to me. keep moving forwards and look back at where things might have gone wrong and learn from that. When you next find yourself having a conversation and find yourselves saying 'if only' - replace it with 'next time' and see how your words change and see how it makes you feel.

Have a great day all!

Kate
