Hi Tiashannon

5lbs in 4 days, great!!! (tho loads say not to weigh more than once a week, but I've never managed that)

Hope you found the list of veg you can have just be careful not to overdo it.

Have a good day & keep up the good work

Hi Anniepannie
thanks for the advice about the veg.
last night i was absolutely starving so i had some boiled broccoli. i just had to have something or i feared i would cheat.
i heard broccoli was ok as long as i didnt have anything else on it!!
what other veg could i possible have? all ideas would be welcome.
end of day 4 and still not cheated whoo hooo....
My daughter is doing LL,
she has been doing it since around feb/march. this diet seems the same only cheaper.
she is 6 stone lighter so thats proof it works.

Hi Tiashannon
Yes well done getting to day 3.

The other thing you could try isif you are having the optional veg, you could have them already chopped up & eat them when cooking for the others. Don't know if it will work as I don't normally have the veg or have to cook for kids.

Or just make up your mind that you are in control & will not eat anything until you are ready for your pack or bar or whatever.
I'm sure lots of people have done that.

Good luck

Hi tiashannon,

Having bad time as my usual bad time of the month, always cop it cant wait for a hysterectomy to have to happen!!! Roll on the hrt and hot flushes!

When under normal stresses though, I rely on nibbling my bar over the cooking/serving time, so something to chomp/taste.

Give it a try and well done on surviving day three, can be a toughee! Rolling Eyes

Hi tiashannon,

The bouillon is a complete pot that you measure out by the tsp for ordinary culinary use. Is that what you meant, or the special sachets purchased from LL?

Yeah, the competition was hard work to do all the cooking, fifteen classes in the cooking section, came 1st with nine of those, only one that the judge left uncarded. Won't go into any further details due to cruelty!
Won the shield for the fourth year on the trot, daughterwants me to fill the whole front surface with the little engraved shields they attach. That's alot of work-we'll have to give that undertaking some serious consideration, and it would only be fair to let someone else have a go. But having said that, NO-ONE had a go at the 'marzipan fruits' and the 'fudge'-again. They are so easy, don't know why they won't try. Rolling Eyes

hiya vashti,
wow you have done a cookery competition? how did you manage with that?
yes your right about the bouillon drink on lighter life, i do have a few of those drinks now and again just to help the cravings.
not sure if it's ok for this diet, so would appreciate a pixies output on this?
it hasn't affected me as yet.

Hi tiashannon, just back into it after a break for this cookery competition at our local village show.
Can't help with the Bovril ?, but when i was on LL, our counsillor said not well talked of, but to save money on their sachets, the equivalent was 'Maigold swiss vegetable Bouillon powder'. Instant stock or delicious hot drink. It's nice, but the 'pixies' would be best to confirm as I have not felt need to have any on this diet yet, so my pot still sitting there. She said we could have up to two savoury drinks per day without coming out of ketosis.
All the best. Wink

Hi tiashannon,

Can't help much as can live without the flavoured water. But recall something about it not containing citric acid therefore ok. But there are a couple of folks out there who can give you a more detailed reply, and where to get the best ones from, so hang on in case they are out at work.

Good luck and stay with it in the meantime.

Post by tiashannon123 Fri Aug 21, 2009 9:17 pm

Hi all,
I'm back now after a few weeks mishaps.
been on holiday and stuff so basically back to my original starting weight of 14 stone.
It's not to late to restart the kee plan, so here goes. this is day 2 for me.
I have previously read in the forums that there are certain flavoured waters i can drink from Asda. also a beef drink?
I have searched and searched these forums again and can't find a thing.
please help, if anyone remembers what these are or where i can read up on what is allowed on this diet, i will be so greatful.

I need to lose 2 stone by mid october. i am going to a wedding with my partner, and his ex wife will be there who is a size 8.
my weight doesn't bother my partner as we have been together 2 years, but this will seriously bother me.
i want to feel as good as possible, and to do this, the weight must come off.
so this is my motivation.
I have given up smoking in jan this year, and think my extra weight has come from wanted to eat everything in sight, and i mean everything pig
