Re: Newbie - diet till December
Hi guys, thank you so much for such a warm welcome to the forum. I'm going to try the VLFD in the hope that i can shed a few pounds before Christmas. Day 1 hasn't gone too badly. Water isn't so much of a problem for me. I usually try to drink 2-3 litres per day plus coffees. I need as much support as i can get as i have the attention span and willpower of a knat. I keep saying to myself that this will be for 12 weeks only and it'll pass in a flash and i'll be thinner at the end of it. Thats the plan anyway. Cottage pie wasn't too bad and i felt i'd had a meal. Stinking cold doesn't help much but that will pass. Once into this plan i hope to be mutually supportive.

Heyyy Soozie, welcome to the forum
No tips really other than the water thing as Hels said, if u dont drink enough u will get dehydrated and it can hamper your weight loss.
if you stick to it you will get amazing results, i fell off the wagon a bit but am back on track again
good luck!!

Hiya
Hiya Soozie781 and welcome
The first week's the hardest babe but stick with it, drink loads of water and experiment with the products and see which one's push your buttons If I had my first week again I'd definitely have ordered more of the hot meals for tea, like the chilli or the Spag Bog as I've tried them now and they're really good, feel like I'm having a proper meal I've got the cottage pie and the cheese and bacon omelets to try as well so looking forward to them this week
I'll be having my third weigh in this Wednesday but have been poorly with a cold, cough and nasty stomach bug so have eaten normallyish whilst poorly but I'm back on track today. The products are really good and make it quite easy to stick to as you really don't feel you're missing out on anything. I've got bars and snacks too which are fantastic, so far I'm happy with it all despite my sickness this week I feel the best I've felt in a long time.
There's a few of us on here, normally every day and we all support each other so please join the gang and we'll all make each others experiences light hearted and fun
