I think I was lucky to be honestI
I tried to keep to low carb approach and didn't go mad on sweets, cakes, etc but had a good few meals and alcohol and was good to be able to relax and join in with everyone else when we saw family.
I've had porridge for breakfast and still enjoyed it so I'm in 2 minds whether to go for 3 packs a day or 2 but I will def be having evening meals. Like u said need to get back into eating!
Hope u are well too x

This Is It! Lizzys journey Empty VLCD SOCIAL DIET

Post by KeeSupport Tue Dec 17, 2013 12:51 am

Great News Lizzie

It is a much better way of being in control and still being able to be more sociable. Just stay focused and keep in control of the meal preparation (and alcohol lol!) then the pounds should continue to fall.

Our KeeBees do mention how good food tastes again, instead of taking every bite for granted.

Let us know how you get on over the holidays.

Went out for tea one night and had no control over what was made but despite having lasagne and a glass of wine still lost 1.5 pounds this week.

This Is It! Lizzys journey Empty KeeDiet Social Plan

Post by Admin Tue Dec 10, 2013 8:44 am

Hi Lizzie,
What a brilliant goal ! Social Plan weight loss shouldn't be too far different from Rapid Burn. If you can continue to drink all that lovely water Smile and keep to your products and the one meal each day of permitted foods we would expect a weight loss of 2 - 3lb each week.

Hope your parcel arrives soon and you enjoy your food. Keep in control, stick to the one meal each day and carry on with your water xx

Ideally another stone which would make me 10 stone something.
Not been that since a teenagerI
I've just received 4 week supply of social plan so hoping to achieve that final stone doing that.
Are the average losses much different on the social plan?

Hi Lizzie

What you have suggested sounds fine.

It's always the drink that pulls us off a diet Laughing

Have a look at our New You diet which will allow fruit and starches but I should mention some important points about the Ketosis stage. When in Ketosis, alcohol can be quite dangerous. If intending to drink it is imperative that you come off a Ketogenic diet and out of Ketosis. We suggest following a healthy eating plan for at least 48 hours prior to drinking alcohol.

A good point to remember is that Christmas only lasts a couple of days, and while others will be piling on the pounds, if you stay focused you will feel just great afterwards.

Hope that all helps Lizzie

Hi Lizzie, with your determination, we are sure you will achieve your target.  We have a saying here that Christmas is really 2 days, not 2 weeks as most of us like to think Smile

Are you hoping to remain in Ketosis over Christmas or relaxing a little?.  We can then hopefully offer you some tips.

Post by KeeSupport Tue Nov 05, 2013 11:54 pm

Hi Lizzy, well you survived. Bet you're looking back and thinking how did you do that ??

Well it was sincere determination, well done you. We often turn to comfort food when other things around us aren't going to plan. That's one of my issues, and I say one Smile

For you to be so determined that not only did you not turn to food you also stuck to plan and lost weight.

Big Congrats for us all here Lizzie, keep up the good work, that 2 stone beacon is shining bright with your name on it Smile

Thank you for your support.
I managed cinema with no sweets, choc or popcorn.
I sat thru McDonalds lunch with just a side salad (not the tomatoes or carrot).
I declined chicken kebabs and had my cottage pie.
Resisted my homemade shortbread and banan cake.
Then when all had left I celebrated with a coke zero and choco crunch bar.
Yay, I did it!

Just hope scales reflect the sacrifice on Monday....

This Is It! Lizzys journey Empty Focus on your Target

Post by KeeSupport Sat Oct 19, 2013 9:42 pm

Hi Lizzie, we hope your day is going to plan. Set yourself small target points to reach throughout the day. This can include drinking your water, and not eating biscuits with the tea you may offer visitors. It does involve a little clock watching, but each time your reach one of your targets, look in a mirror and self congratulate yourself.

You will feel so empowered if you can get through the day sticking to your rules and reaching each and every goal no matter how small.
