Newbie, day one!! Empty Well done!

Post by Admin Tue Nov 06, 2012 10:13 pm

Well done Annabelle! Well all have occasions to attend at times and this time of year it can really test the willpower but you sound like you are still doing very well! As you say, it could be easy to find yourself back up there at the weight that you have worked so hard to come down from - so its great to hear that you are still determined to get back on it and carry right on!

Keep us posted with the approach to date night and let us know how you are getting on Very Happy

Well Done Annabelle

Personally, I've fallen rather spectacularly off the wagon but intend to start again tomorrow after a night of drinking with the girls. Am still probably at least a stone down from when I started though so it's ok. Will be doing it without any lapses until 23 November now so I'll let you all know the overall loss then.

Newbie, day one!! Empty 16st 4lbs - enough is enough weight!

Post by helendalton Tue Oct 16, 2012 3:05 am

Me toooooo Belle! 16st 4lbs was what I hit! Like yourself, once I've shifted this excess 6st I'm not going back! It's all about re-educating ourselves about what we are putting in ourselves!

Knowing to cut out the carbs is the best thing I've learnt, I didn't realise just how the body processed them Cool

I do miss my bread & spuds though & will use alternatives to what I was eating before once I get to the stage of re-introducing food Rolling Eyes

No more white bread that's for sure & as my stomach will be smaller I should be able to have much smaller portions of the old tatties Laughing

Eeee Belle what are you like Question At least you're back on it but don't you find it harder each time you break off to get back on the train again Question
When I was at the funeral yesterday and was introduced to the buffet afterwards I thought to myself nah, in couple of months I'll be able to participate so not gonna bring myself out of Ketosis for the sake of just doing what everyone expects you to do i.e. eat! I can wait, on the grand scale of things a few months abstinence in my life to get me to where I want to be shouldn't be difficult to do. Yes, some days are harder than others but on the whole I really am finding I'm not hungry - so why eat Question

This is sooooooooooo gonna be worth it in a couple of months girl Cool

Newbie, day one!! Empty Healthy BMI is really my goal too!

Post by helendalton Fri Sep 14, 2012 5:28 pm

Posh innit Belle? Love my ticker! I'm the same as you Belle, getting my BMI to around the 25 mark is my main aim and I just guessed my target weight based on that. You can always change your goal weight on the ticker anyway so go on, get one, they're free and easy to install, just paste the HTML code into your signature box on your profile here.

Anyway, although I'd lost 7lbs week one I thought it was more. I had a sneak weigh in during the week and had lost 8lbs and couldn't understand when I had my official weigh in I'd gained a pound but yesterday all was revealed (TOTM) so next weeks weigh in should be a lot better. Listen to me, I still lost half a stone in my first week, what on earth am I b******g about?

Can't wait to lose the other 77lbs - eeeeeeeeek that sounds scary Shocked

Todays blog...

well my lovely boss asked me if i was losing weight this morning, yay!! My reply "only 12lbs so far" but ill get there! To be honest i cant see it yet but it usually takes me close to 2 stone before i start to see a marked improvement. Im actually craving the thought of looking in the mirror and seeing someone attractive standing there, to look forward to going on a night out and dressing up rather than being the scruffy one in jeans, cons and a top because the effort seems pointless.

Now this may sound like a moan or a pity party but its not, im really focussed!! Thats how i feel just now, but it will get less and less so as the days/weeks go on. Im now just under 14 and half stone when a mere 17 days ago i was 15st 4.5lbs, how much better am i going to feel in another 17 days time??

Im excited about the future and being a sassy singleton instead of being the one shying away in the corner in new company. Bring on self confidence and a touch of vanity hehe!!! xx

YOU NEED TO STOP THINKING OF WHAT YOU CAN'T HAVE......BUT MORE FOCUS ON WHAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO HAVE....HAVE YOU GOT A PRESSIE IN MIND FOR YOURSELF,FOR WHEN YOU'VE REACHED YOUR GOAL.......OF COURSE ULTIMATELY THE PRESSIE IS THE NEW SLIMMER HEALTHIER YOU.... BUT I REALLY THINK YOU NEED A SPECIAL TREAT, FOR THAT VERY DETERMINED SPECIAL LADY THAT HAS ACHEIVED SOMETHING SO GREAT, THAT SO MANY START AND FAIL TO COMPLETE.....
MAYBE A NEW DRESS... FOR ME IT'S NICE UNDIES....AND SOME REALLY NICE SLOUOCHY P,JS SIZE10/12 !!!!!
