Coke zero ? Empty Hi

Post by Admin Mon Feb 27, 2012 4:59 am

All mentioned below are allowed, tea, coffee, leaf teas, (approx 1 - 4 max per day is a good guide) coke zero and dr pepper zero but should always be in moderation and are not included in your water consumption for the day. Drinking too much of anything else bar water could make drinking the required amount more difficult....

With our plans we recommend 2.25L of water, this can be plain or sparkling, bottled or tap. If a taller lady, man or someone with more than 1 stone to shed, or exercising we suggest you should be drinking around 3L of water as a minimum.

If you drink tea, coffee, leaf teas these act as a diruetic and therefore will take some good water away, quicker, also fizzy drinks do not quench your thirst and add toxins, you should therefore compensate and drink extra water. For each tea or coffee etc drinking another 250ml glass of water is a good measure.

Flower teas, Fruit Teas and Root Teas should be avoided as should diet coke and other diet drinks as they contain citric acid and possibly carbs.

Coke Zero and Dr Pepper Zero are permitted on the plans in moderation as should all fizzy drinks be in moderation. They do not contain citric acid but still contain a blend of aspartame and acesulfame-K which some people prefer to avoid.

Hope Helped

Will be interesting to see what Admin says, I have no idea.

On the drink subject it states you are allowed limited black coffee!?! any ideas on how many that means? might aswell get all the drink questions out of the way.

I need my coffee to keep me awake Smile

Hi Steph,

I hope you get an answer to this but just be aware of what they put in the diet drinks.

A few years ago I was very poorly (for about 3 months) and it was very likely it was down to the pepsi max/ diet coke / coke zero!! be careful. When not on the diet I do occasionally have one as I dont drink alcohol and it hits the spot but it can really be bad for you.

Listen to me the preacher!!! sorry but just be careful with them.
