2lb closer to your target is an achievement and to show that you can socialise and still lose

Well done, make plans for your following week and stick to your rules.

Hi Tracy,

Well done for your 2lb loss, and well done for having the resolve to stick to the Salad while your friend was tucking in to a Stuffed crust Pizza! Roy Very Happy

Hey Tracey!!

I know how you feel! It's always really hard sticking to this diet when socialising...
I had some Vodka Diet Cokes the other weekend or a grilled chicken salad from McDonalds Laughing
To be honest it is more important to me to socialise (especially because i moved from germany to england and
don't know many people) than losing weight (even tho i really want to do that aswell!) I think i found a way
to do both even tho i cheat a little bit on the diet....
But most of the time i stick to the diet...my weight loss is about 3 pound a week now, it
sometimes seems to go sooo slow but in the end i would never lose that weight without Kee!
I think everyone has ups and downs and as long as you lose weight, even if it's just a pound, it is a success!

Just don't give up and think positive Very Happy

Week 5 weigh in Empty Week 5 weigh in

Post by bettyblooper Fri Apr 08, 2011 12:23 am

Hi Guys & Gals,

Well am now on week 5, and it's starting to get a little tougher as I am venturing out socialising a bit more and the dreaded alcohol has been calling...I think I have done really well as I have started and finished on tonic or still water but am going to admit a sneaky glass of wine inbetween...but hey ho at least I am not drinking a bottle or 2 in one go...I ain't going to beat myself up and where food is concerned am still doing ok despite being dragged into pizza hut one day last week sat there with a tiny leaf salad whilst my best bud sat tucking into the best EVER looking stuffed crust margharita...why did I give into my leaf salad???...I was on a high from just collecting my wedding dress and still managing to fit into it!!!
I have always known my eating habits are tied in with my emotions...my happy ones I can still control with a healthy option but it the dreaded bad emotions that thankfully I have avoided for the last 5 weeks but am dreading having to cope with any of those because they are my worst enemy
Anyway after all that it was another respectable 2lb loss this week...it's still not the 3-4lb I have been used to before but it still is my water intake that I am struggling with the most. Am hoping to have a better go at it this week so am aiming for a 4-5lb loss next week...watch this space.
Tracy x
