Back on track now!
Been on it now for the last 11 days, lost 1 stone 7lbs!
Rode horse yesterday, but gales today mean that may be a suicide mission so not risking it!

Well, won it again, 5 times on the trot now, so thrilled, made the work worthwhile, but still bushed!!!! All night Friday night finishing, had my morning shower with the dawn chorus!!! Then out to do animals before delivering to show bench!
Therefore starting again in the morning, can't wait, just got to get rid of all this food now. Hubby taking some cakes in to work tomorrow, sure they'll make short work of them!
Looking forward to my 1st weigh in next Monday am, hope it's as good as last time!
Morning hun,
Well done on winning the competition.....
Good luck with your weigh in next Monday, you can do it x x

Hi Vashti
Yes, must be extremely difficult for you personally.
You have done great and hopefully soon all sorted.
Keep up the good work - tis hard and worth it, but maybe if it wasnt we wouldnt all wouldnt strive for it so much,
What do ya think LOL

Re: Vashti's Challenge-I CAN do it!
Thanks admin, didn't do anything too drastic due to hernia WILL NO let me, but just enough to spoil ketosis. If anything i skipped sachets alltogether, so not getting enough-just as bad.

Hi Vashti
Yes you are right it is sometimes difficult when busy but with so many ProtiKee products it really should be easier than ever to diet. It just seems when we are out of our normal routine and rules - good sense go out the window. Remember if using 4 products and having an extra busy day you may need an extra product or even 2 for that day or the day after as your energy has been used up too quickly, allowing your body to scream for some carbs or sugars - hence why we all think of foods to enjoy. Using extra is so much better than picking as once you start you feel the day is wasted and will start again tomorrow or you just cant stop and it can continue for days.
We are hoping soon to release some new products that will help over the coming months, especially the summer when folks tend to be out and about and tend to eat on the go. Although it is a common problem that we wander because we are busy, it is generally about attitude and planning for these times as they come to all, there shouldnt really be anything easier or quicker than making up a shake, you can even do this while walking around with a shaker as you generally have access to a bottle of cold water these days and it does only take minutes to shake, even standing in line for the hot dog or asking for that double scoop with a flake & chocolate sauce with nuts takes longer, but even though we know this - we still tend to get pushed into eating whilst out.
Motto of any Days Outing - Nothing tastes as good as being slim will feel
We hope our Total Bottles are already helping and we have some wafers coming and hopefully to arrive before we close for our two weeks Summer Vacation (5.8.10 - 24.8.10) some snack puffs, in 3 flavours.
Remember keep on the RIGHT side of the track the otherside is not so good !! We've been there and we didnt like it - Why go Back ! - LOL
Make today count everyone

Re: Vashti's Challenge-I CAN do it!
Had such a busy weekend. Ballet to watch-our annual chance to watch her lesson, and shopping, so wacked, then phone call to say hay was on it's way, so snatch and grab. Sunday was the Midland Arab festival, so had shake for the morning, but rest of day so tired, that endied up being a pickie day, but back into it today, and fortunately still hot, so that helps. Washing, gardening etc to do. But horse still off with torn muscle after a saved stumble, so morings not occupied with her, so temptations everywhere...........
Keep trying to look at my slim photos I have posted everywhere downstairs!

Re: Vashti's Challenge-I CAN do it!
Thanks Katyjay, yes things have settled considerably thank goodness, nearly 3 weeks this time, so time running out. Hopefully October things will be sorted, and next summer I can enjoy salads and veg again!
Losing abit steadily, but slow as cannot always manage the volume of the 3 shakes, and the bar is not always comfortable as that goes through, so if i can't spin it out, I don't bother.
Glad you are back on track too, and a holiday to look forward to, a day at the beach if we're lucky I think. Hope cozzy will still fit????

Re: Vashti's Challenge-I CAN do it!
TOTM come round again, hernia feeling better, packed in the Psyllium husks as read they shouldn't be used if you have a blockage, so ? try them just in the mornings to 'help' things along when it's settled down.
Not weighed this week due to water retention, info I can do without without this week! Keeping on plodding though.
Nice to see some people returning, more posting though instead of just reading, may not be relevant to you, but can really give others a nudge and boost to keep going or just try that bit harder, or even give you that boost that you may need. COME ON!

Re: Vashti's Challenge-I CAN do it!
Hernia started to bubble free, but still sore etc, so sticking rigidly to it! Minus the extra water as guts can't deal with the volume!
Horse being checked this am, so hopefully she can start recovering fitness in roundpen while my guts finish sorting themselves out!
Bought some secondhand jods, which I can get into but hernia can't
Hows everyone else doing, very quiet on here. We need everyone's input to boost each other! Even if they are lows, it gives us a boost by being able to try and bolster others up and carry them along, come on, don't be shy, and try doing it on your own, a problem shared is a problem halved!!!!!!!

Re: Vashti's Challenge-I CAN do it!
Hi everyone, how are you doing Sharron?
Day three for us today, hernia still up creek, so preventing me from even considering cheating!!!!!!
Being messed up a little be having to add an odd polo mint to help with guts, so my ketosis will be slightly delayed, but have to clear my blockage. Hospital no good, so at home, doing it myself!
Horse still having her ultrsaound, hopefully good news friday when she has her check-up, but may have to continue for another week.

Just sipping some choc shake, hernia still trapped though, hobbling about while it gets bubbling through, hopefully! Very painful, so not tempted to cheat yet, mild thoughts quickly quashed by v.uncomfortable reminder from intestines!
Later or tomorrow may not be such an easy day......
Oh you poor thing. Sounds painful for you. I think I am hard done by and feel sorry for myself then I read what other people are going through and it gives me a wake up call. Keep posting let us know how you are doing. Take care

Vashti's Challenge-I CAN do it!
Starting afresh today! This is it, messing about over!!!!!
Had abit of dinner with family last night as son's birthday. Paying penalty with hernia today, and only 5 months left to ? op deadline.
Julie- I can do it, hope you're still able to pop in for your motivational tips, you have been an inspiration as are several others who have left me stagnating.
Horse got torn muscle again after saving us from a bad fall, so no riding for abit while she is having treatment. We were both getting fitter, so we both have to make a fresh start only this time I'm ging to be ahead of her.
Found some jodphurs on ebay last week to shrink into, so hanging them up to look at downstairs, to keep me focused on getting into them!
Can't wait for next weeks weigh in, as I know this will give my morale a boost.
