Hi Kitt,
I struggle with enough water due to prolapse, feel heavily pregnant all the time as far as my bladder is concerned! Can't do creosoting for instance when coming in to the loo every 10 minutes Shocked
Yes I found LL counselling useful if I could stay awake through it, but find this bett as a large circle of people you can get to know, who are available 24/7, even if it's due to their old posts!
If I have a low point then I always check in for news and any older posts that can relift my spirits. PMT this week, so will be on here more, my vulnerable time Sad

Hi Vashti

Thanks for your thoughts. I'm awash with water but I'm nearly through the first day.

I miss the group sessions on LL but this may be better because I have access to friends every day not once a week.

I'm signing off for tonight thanks for the support guys and I look foward to chatting again.

Kitt, so very sorry to hear your Mum has a battle to fight, she has you to give her all the support she needs I'm sure, and as your weight comes off, that'll give her such a boost too.
Nan, great to hear your starting well too, we are all hear to help each other, any low moments, just log on and read the posts through, it really does help to kep you motivated.
Kitt, my friend has an underactive thyroid too and although I'd love to be as slim as her, she is still not happy with being unable to shift that little bit.
1st few days are the hardest for being hungry, keep a bottle of water handy at all times to sip, mind over body needs to keep strong, that first weigh day is getting closer all the time, and that'll give you such a lift!
Keep in touch, there's always someone logging in who can help if you need it, both of you. Smile

Hi

Thanks for replying. It's my first day and I'm hungry. Heho never mind bed in a couple of hours then I can foget about it LOL.

Mum's doing well now so that's a plus. I'm trying to give up smoking as well but I'm not all the way there yet.

I'm sure we can be diet buddies and support each other.

Nice to know you and good luck

Hi Kitt,

I am sorry to hear about your Mum, that must be difficult for you. I'm new to the diet and to this site but like you I look forward to getting to know people and finding support along the way. Maybe we can boost each other along???

Take care and good luck xxx Smile

cat

I did LL before but unfortunatly put the weight back on due to stress (my mums had breast cancer) I'm her carer now so money is tight to say the least but the idea worked well for me before and Kee looked good.

I have an under active thyroid so weight loss is impossible on other types of diets, but on this type of plan you loose it slower but it does come off.

OK I won't bore you further, I hope to get to know some of you along the way.
