Hi KeeBees a mixed note....

Good News first, Smile our 10% discount for January 2011 proved a great success and many new clients joined TheKeeDiet, through finding us in the internet but mainly through recommendation which we are really pleased about. So thank you for all of you who have told friends & family your secret...
This month, the month of Love and Valentines we are offering FREE delivery for our normal larger parcels £6.95 and 1/2 price UK Highland Postage normally £13.99. An approximate spend of £80.00 is required but delivery is costed on weight and will any cost will be applied at checkout.

Bad News now, Crying or Very sad Unfortunately in 2010 we were advised that Meal Bars were considered as Standard Rate for VAT purpose, we understand that HMRC are doing the rounds and that other providers have been contacted and are either due to conform or are already doing so, the HMRC findings are that if a bar has less than 25% Protein (which is huge) or lis ess than 200kcal they should be considered standard rated, you will see from all the Meal Replacement companies, all bars should therefore be Vated even LL, Cambridge, etc, so I think it is watch this space, unfortunately they seem to have started with the smaller companies. Thanks !!!.

................We are now aware that our Snack Wafers are also considered as Standard Rate due to their chocolate drizzel topping and base and therefore as from today by law we must identify these as VAT added and VAT will be added at checkout. For this we apologies and do not wish to add to increasing your spend with us or for food in general. As everything presently food bills and cost are increasing, we will do everything possible to source cheaper cost where ever possible without affecting our service or high quality of products to ensure that we offer clients the opportunity to lose weight with a VLCD that would cost no more than your average weekly food bill. This is our ethos and something we are committed to. We believe a VLCD plan should be available to all persons.
